MONTHLY MEETING MINUTES
MONDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2000
6:30 P.M.
Karla brought meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
Officer Matthews gave crime report and took questions from
the crowd.
Robin gave minutes from last meeting.
Nothing to report from the Treasury, Refreshment, or Safety
Committees.
Karla discussed the donation plate for refreshments.
Robin motioned for the permanent meeting date to be held on
the second Thursday of each month.
Harlan seconded and the motion was passed.
Doris gave a presentation on signage vs. flyers and Greg
gave a presentation on the by-laws. We
will vote on the by-laws at the next meeting.
We discussed yearly dues.
Ray motioned for $10.00 per year dues and Jack seconded. We also decided to mention the dues and
permanent date and time of the monthly meeting on the flyers for the next
meeting.
Karla discussed crime watch signs and passed around some
literature. We also talked about the
pricing and budget for the signs. We
will vote on the signs at the next meeting.
Karla attended a United Neighborhood Association meeting and
gave a brief overview.

Rev. Osborne spoke about the Harvest Party on 10/28/00 and
mentioned that they would appreciate any food donations.
Volunteers were taken for the following committees:

Lou Ann Gruebel
A brief discussion of the Blue Probe ensued.
The next meeting will be held on 11/09/00 at 6:30 p.m. and
the following issues will be discussed:

Vote on crime watch signs
Vote on
by-laws
Karla adjourned the meeting at 7:46 p.m.
