MONTHLY MEETING MINUTES
THURSDAY, MARCH 8, 2001
6:30 P.M.
Karla brought meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
A new neighbor was introduced.
Randy gave crime report.

Quiet and very slow in the neighborhood (routine stuff).
·
1800 block of Marie – broken windows and sling shot damage
(wrist rocket).
Robin read minutes and Chris gave treasury report.
Treasury
balance: $249.25
Street sign helpers were verified: Ray, Joe, Harlon, and
Karla.
The signs are on order.
A brief discussion regarding the signs ensued.
Karla talked about flyer distribution and yard signs. Pat took flyers for Keck and businesses.
Karla spoke about Officer Barnes and gave the following
information:

She also spoke about all of the wonderful help we have
received from the church: notice in the bulletin and the marquee sign.
She petitioned volunteers for:

United Neighborhood Organization Representatives:
o Peggy White
o Greg Stillwell

Welcoming Committee

Beautification Committee
Greg offered to take care of letterhead and letters to
unacceptable neighbors and neighborhood services. Discussion regarding a return address on letterhead vs. a p.o.
box ensued. Greg talked about sending correspondence
to landlords.
Luan gave Karla an information sheet on the history of the
neighborhood.
