Willemette Village Neighborhood Crime Statistics
January 11th - Febuary 21st, 2002
This month's crime report is deceiving. The crimes reported, all but one, have suspects or have been solved.
There were two (2) Burglary reports taken:
2205 Hercules- Suspects had asked property owner about debris removal. The victim said no to the request. Later they came back and asked
about an old storm door, the victim allowed them to take the door. The next morning the victim noticed that a chain saw was missing from
the garage. This case has been solved. One of the suspects told police that his partner had committed the theft. That
suspect has been named and arrested.
1615 Herndon- Victim stated that someone stole his car hauler trailer and several items form his garage. He stated that the thefts took place over
a period of two weeks. The items from the garage were a air compressor, two welders, and a battery charger. Victim also said he has a good idea who
took the items but was not sure enough to list them as suspects.
There was one (1) criminal mischief report:
2207 Harding- Victim said that a subject that he has had ongoing problems with demolished his car with
hammer, and slashed his tires.
There was one (1) criminal reckless with a firearm reported:
1924 E. Morgan- (this is the Oakhill Pharmacy) Suspects unknown, shot windows out of two of the pharmacy
delivery cars. The weapon used was a handgun.
